Software

  • iLearn (version 2.1) – This executable is the companion application for our IR products, including the iTach IR models, the GC-IRL, and now with support for the GC-IRE which needs a GC-RG1 to recieve IR commands. This utility allows for the capture of IR commands and conversion to GC-100 and Hex (CCF) formats. Be sure to visit our Tutorial page for more instructions. Important: Attempts to use the “Send IR” button from connector 1 will cause the connector to stop responding. If done, disconnect from the unit, then reconnect, and the connector light will return to its off state. This is a bug in the iLearn program which will be addressed in the coming release.
  • iHelp – The iHelp utility is used to locate and configure iTach devices and GC-100s installed on the network, and also has new upgrade functionality for the iTach family of products. Run iHelp.exe on a Windows PC connected to the same network as your GC devices. iHelp listens for iTach and GC-100 multicast beacons and displays every MAC ID and IP address within one minute. Configure your GC product by selecting it from the list and right-clicking on Configure to display the setup pages on your local browser. Upgrade your iTach units by right clicking and selecting “Upgrade”. This file is an executable and does not require installation.

  • iTach API Specification – This PDF provides information to assist installers, system integrators, and developers in developing drivers and interface applications for the iTach family of products.
  • GC-IRL API Specification – This PDF provides information on the GC-IRL IR Learner device.
  • GC-IRE API Specification -This PDF provides information on the GC-IRE IR Extender device.
  • GC-100 API Specification – This PDF provides information to assist installers, system integrators, and developers in developing drivers and interface applications for the GC-100.

Development and Testing

  • GC-100 Test Utility – This .msi installation file will install the GC-100 Test Utility. This small application is for testing the functionality of the GC-100 Network Adapters and confirming proper operation.
  • GC-100 Crestron Template – To download the updated beta template, you will need to supply contact information.
  • GC-CCF Conversion Utility (version 2.0)  – This application is a stand-alone conversion utility to convert GC-100 IR codes to Hex (CCF) codes, or Hex (CCF) codes to GC-100 IR codes.  This program requires the Microsoft .NET Framework Version 1.1.  If Microsoft .NET is not installed on your computer, you will be prompted to install it while installing the GC-CCF Converter Utility.
  • GC-Scan – This .exe utility is used to verify GC-100 operation, test IR codes and other operations. We have modified the original TCPScan application (http://www.geocities.com/lpiergentili/tcpscan.htm) written by Luca Piergentili with his permission specifically for GC-100 use. Please review the Readme for this utility before you use it.
