tin:b Adds Support for Global Caché Products in iRedTouch Applications
Jacksonville, OR USA – November 25, 2009 – Global Caché, a leading provider of connectivity products, and tin:b Software, provider of iRedTouch control software for the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch, announced today they have entered into a strategic partnership. The agreement provides a platform for co-marketing and product compatibility. An iPhone/iPod Touch can be used as a universal remote control using a combination of tin:b iRedTouch software and Global Caché GC-100 or iTach hardware.
Global Caché’s GC-100 Network Adapter and new iTach family of products physically connect diverse devices throughout a home and business to a network so they can be controlled, automated, and maintained by network-based software. Global Caché products offer WiFi and wired TCP/IP with Power over Ethernet connectivity to any IR, serial and relay device. The company offers other connectivity products, including an IR Learner, IR receiver and sensors that can be connected to a network. Global Caché products are designed to work with other standards based products.
Tin:b software, is the developer of iRedTouch, an iPhone application that turns an iPhone into a remote control. The popular software is now available on the Apple App Store. Tin:b Software is also working on the integration of Global Caché’s products in the iRed software, only available for Mac OS X.
