 How many and what kind of IR emitters are supported by the GC-100?

 The GC-100 can support up to two IR emitters attached to each IR port of the GC-100. This means IR emitters such as Xantech’s 282M single mouse emitter and Xantech’s 284M dual mouse emitters can be connected directly to the GC-100 IR ports.

To support additional emitters, an amplified connection block, such as Xantech’s 791-44 connecting block, can be used. This configuration requires the Global Caché GC-CGX converter cable to connect from the GC-100 IR port to the IR RCVR port on the connecting block. Connecting blocks from Speakercraft and Niles are also supported using the GC-CGX cable. Use of an amplified connection block also allows for the use of IR “blaster” style emitters to control devices from across the room.
