Global Caché and NuFactor, Tatung Canada Subsidiary, Announce Partnership
NuFactor, Tatung Canada’s Newly Formed Digital Smart Home Company, will Resell Global Caché IP-Enabling Products as Part of their Digital Smart Home Solution

Las Vegas, NV USA - January 5, 2006 - (2006 International CES) Global Caché, the award winning provider of products that enable technology in homes and businesses, and NuFactor, the newly launched Tatung subsidiary focused on providing digital solutions for the home, announced today they have signed a Value Added Reseller (VAR) agreement, allowing NuFactor to launch Global Caché products as part of their smart home system.

Global Caché’s products include the GC-100 Network Adapter, a flexible and easy to use hardware device connecting IR, serial and digital I/O (relay) devices to a network. The GC-100 addresses the growing number of homes with high-bandwidth Internet and networking capability, and enables the use of network-based software to control and automate diverse devices throughout the home. In addition, Global Caché provides IR learning devices, sensors, and conversion cabling to connect previously unconnected systems to a network. Global Caché products are based upon open systems and accepted industry standards.

NuFactor, a newly launched brand of Tatung Company, specializes in high performance home theaters, multi-room wireless or wire audio video, networked entertainment systems, communications, and home automation and security systems. With a full line of high end LCD and plasma TVs, personal hand-held audio video devices, digital media receiver, customized Media Center (MCE) PCs, touch panel and tablet PCs, NuFactor provides top quality products to improve the home and office environments at an affordable price.
