Reseller Agreement
NOBU to include Global Caché Home Network
Adapter with New Home Automation Solution
San Jose, CA - October 14, 2003 - NOBU, a
provider of high-quality Plasma/LCD PC touch screen products for
the residential, commercial, and industrial sectors, and Global
Caché, a manufacturer of products that enable technology
in the home, announced today they have signed a Value Added Reseller
(VAR) agreement allowing NOBU to bundle the Global Caché GC-100
Home Network Adapter with it's acclaimed touch screens and Premise
software from Lantronix. NOBU touch screen products include in-wall,
wall-mount and tablet computers. NOBU resells Premise Home Control
Software pre-loaded and configured on NOBU display devices. The
Global Caché GC-100 Home Network Adapter connects common
household devices to a home network and the Internet. Combined,
the products offer a powerful and cost effective solution for controlling
and automating any environment.
"
Our goal is to provide the best solution available," said
John Frei, CEO and President of NOBU. "We recognize that the
Premise Home Control Software from Lantronix and Global Caché's
GC-100 Home Network Adapter represent best-of breed products in
the home control space. By including these products with our exciting
new displays, we are able to deliver a great solution to the market
place that wasn't previously available." "Our GC-100 was developed to very simply and affordably connect
home networks to IR, serial, and relay devices so they can be accessed
and managed by home automation systems like NOBU's," said
Global Caché President Walt Keller. "The market has
been demanding high performance, affordable displays such as NOBU's,
and we're proud they are going to include our network adaptors
with their solutions. We think the combination of Premise Software,
NOBU touch screens, and Global Caché's connectivity products
is a real winner."
