Global Caché and DotVision Form Partnership
DotVision’s Online.Vision offers MultiMedia Control using Global Cache’s GC-100 Network Adapter

Paris, France and Jacksonville, OR USA - November 2, 2005 - Global Caché, the award winning provider of products that enable technology in homes and businesses, and DotVision, a leading provider of front-end tools and Enterprise Monitoring Applications, announced today they have signed a strategic alliance agreement. The agreement provides the framework for the two companies to work closely together to deliver and market compatible products that address the fast-growing control, and facility management markets for intelligent commercial buildings and smart homes.

ONLINE.VISION is an easy to use design tool from DotVision that allows users to design a high quality graphical front-end to control, command and monitor LONWORKS building/Home systems (HVAC, lighting, security, access control, sensors), multimedia equipments and cameras. The graphical and animated front-end is accessible from any location using a web browser.

Global Caché’s GC-100 Network Adapter is designed to IP-enable existing hardware that otherwise could not be accessed over a network. Employing a GC-100, any infrared (IR), serial (RS232), or contact closure (relay) device can be accessed and controlled over a network or the Internet, using IP-based software. The company also provides IR learners, sensors, receivers, and other connectivity devices.
