Global Caché Continues
Expansion with Distribution into Spain
Partnership with Domosystems to Provide Distribution, Integration,
and Localization for Spanish Residential Market
Jacksonville, OR - August 2, 2005 -
Global Caché, the award winning provider of IP-enabling products
for homes and businesses, announced today it has signed an agreement
with Domosystems, a leading provider of residential technology,
to localize, integrate, and distribute Global Caché products
throughout Spain.
Global Caché's flagship product, the GC-100 Network Adapter,
is designed to IP-enable devices and appliances that otherwise could
not be connected to a network, bringing Ethernet connectivity to
infrared (IR) devices, serial (RS232) devices, and relay switches
(contact closures), allowing them to be controlled using IP-based
software. Global Caché also supplies IR learning devices,
IR receivers, and sensors for use over networks.
Domosystems, one of a group of companies addressing home technology,
is the manufacturer of e-domo, a home control product that integrates
security and comfort in the home. Domosystems is a sister company
to HogarDigital, a digital home services company and provider of
the OSGi Residential Gateway (WebTV ADSL router), Domotica.net, a
leading Spanish portal providing news, training and products, Next
