Global Caché and Cortexa Technology Ink Strategic Alliance Agreement
Ezecomp, an Irish Software and Systems Provider Will Include Global Caché Products in Offering

Jacksonville, OR - April 24, 2006- Global Caché, the award winning provider of IP-enabling products for  homes and businesses, and Cortexa Technology, a provider of home automation and control systems, announced today they have signed a strategic alliance agreement which provides a framework for the companies to work together to promote their solutions and ensure product compatibility and optimization.

Cortexa manufactures and markets the Cortexa 7202, a fanless solid state controller that consolidates the control of various home sub-systems into one central system. In addition to providing whole home control at an affordable price, the Cortexa 7202 manages a network, archives video, and plays audio with an iTunes connection.  Cortexa provides a full suite of interface solutions; wireless in-wall touch screens, PocketPC, CE View, and TV interface support, as well as browser-based access.

Global Caché’s products include the GC-100 Network Adapter, a flexible and easy to use hardware device connecting infrared (IR), serial (RS232), and relay (contact closure) devices to a network. The GC-100 addresses the growing number of homes with high-bandwidth Internet and networking capability and enables the use of network-based software to control and automate diverse devices throughout the home or business. In addition, Global Caché provides IR learning devices, sensors, and conversion cabling to connect previously unconnected systems to a network. Global Caché products are based upon open systems and accepted industry standards.

“Building our products on open systems enables us to embrace other vendors’ solutions that are complimentary to ours,” said Billy Martin, Cortexa’s CEO. “Our alliance with Global Caché will enhance our dealers and installers offerings. That’s important to us.  Now they have the ability to extend the power of Cortexa throughout a residence by utilizing the home network, connecting diverse devices to our controllers via a GC-100. It really couldn’t be simpler.”

“Cortexa has exciting products, and we’re very pleased to be partnering with them,” said Walt Keller, Global Caché President. “Being the IP-enabling product for common household devices, we are dependent on our partners to provide the intelligence to do the heavy lifting. Cortexa provides a powerful solution at a cost-effective price, something our channel is very interested in. Our respective products are a great fit, and our mutual commitment to providing comprehensive solutions to the channel is a great fit as well.”
