Global Caché Expands Distribution with Casa Automation
Austin based Casa Automation sells and provides training to home control, audio video and networking dealers and installers

Jacksonville, OR - May 18, 2005 - Global Caché, the award winning provider of network-enabling technology for homes and businesses, announced today it has begun selling products through Casa Automation, an Austin-based distributor focused on training and selling to home control and automation dealers, installers, and system integrators.

Global Caché's GC-100 Network Adapter is a hardware product designed to IP-enable devices and appliances that otherwise could not be connected to a network, bringing Ethernet connectivity to infrared (IR) devices, serial (RS232) devices, and relay switches (contact closure) allowing them to be controlled using IP-based software. Global Caché also supplies full spectrum IR learning devices, IR receivers, and sensors for use over networks. Casa Automation offers products that are easily integrated to build powerful and reliable home control systems, as well as comprehensive product training and support services.
