GCScan is a utility to verify GC-100 operation, test IR codes and other
operations. We have modified the original TCPScan application
(http://www.geocities.com/lpiergentili/tcpscan.htm) written by
Luca Piergentili with his permission specifically for GC-100 use.

When you run the application for the first time,your security software
may present a dialog box asking if you want to permit the application 
to access the Internet; select “Permit Always."

Note that the program will append a linefeed after each incoming message
in the “Receive” field. Also, if you change the IP Address or the Port
Number, click the "Update" button for the changes to take effect, then
click the "Connect" button to re-connect with the new settings.
