Global Caché creates easy to use IP-enabling products for the residential, commercial, and educational markets. Our innovative products connect previously unconnected devices to a network. Based upon our own proprietary design, our suite of products are developed using industry standards and open systems, and easily integrate with third party offerings such as standard PC hardware, network-based software, and other systems. Founded in 2001 by Silicon Valley veterans, the company is headquartered in Jacksonville, Oregon.

Product Overview

The Global Caché GC-100 Network Adapter connects a TCP/IP network to infrared (IR), serial (RS232), and contact closure (relay) devices, allowing them to be automated, controlled, and monitored over the network by third party software. The Global Caché GC-100 is used in wireless and wired environments and can be accessed over the Internet.

In addition to the GC-100, Global Caché offers several other IP-enabling products. The GC-IRL IR Learner automatically captures IR codes to a PC, providing rapid learning of IR codes for automation and control installations. We offer a GC-IRE IR Extender for digitizing IR input, and sensors and receivers for sending and receiving IR information over a network, as well as specialized connectivity cables.

Global Caché products have won prestigious industry awards, including CE-Pro’s High Impact Product of the Year for IP-enabling.

Executive Management

Walter Keller is President and Chief Executive Officer of Global Caché. He has extensive leadership experience, with over 25 years as a Silicon Valley engineering manager and business executive. Prior to starting Global Caché, Keller founded GraphOn Corporation, an infrastructure software company listed on the NASDAQ where he served as President, CEO, and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Keller is an accomplished presenter and has appeared on many technology television and radio programs. His career highlights include mergers and acquisitions, raising venture capital, and taking a company public.

Robin Ford is Global Caché’s Vice President of Business Development. Ford brings more that 25 years experience in executive level sales, marketing, public relations, investor relations, and management. Ford was previously with GraphOn Corporation, where she was a co-founder and worked in various management positions, including sitting on the Board of Directors, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, and Executive Vice President of Investor Relations. She was responsible for directing activities related to going public and the company’s listing on The NASDAQ Stock Market.
